Bemura Autofill Extension — Privacy

The Bemura Autofill browser extension fills job application forms using the resume you store in Bemura. It is designed so your data flows from Bemura to your browser — not the other way around.

What the extension can access

• It reads a page only after you click the extension on that page (Chrome's activeTab permission). It has no access to your browsing otherwise.
• It communicates only with bemura.com, using your existing Bemura login.

What leaves your browser

• Nothing you type into a form is ever sent anywhere by the extension.
• If a form field cannot be recognized locally, the extension sends only sanitized field metadata (the field's label, type, and section heading) to Bemura to classify it. Never field values, never page content, never page URLs.
• Anonymous usage counts (how many fields were filled, which job platform) help us improve matching. No form contents are included.

Die Erweiterung liest eine Seite nur nach Ihrem Klick auf das Erweiterungssymbol. Ihre Formulareingaben verlassen niemals den Browser. Kann ein Feld lokal nicht erkannt werden, werden ausschließlich Feld-Metadaten (Beschriftung, Typ, Abschnittsüberschrift) an Bemura gesendet — niemals Feldwerte, Seiteninhalte oder URLs.
